Passionate, caring and committed are just a few words to describe our Executive Director Sandy Lown. Just spend a few minutes with her and you’ll quickly realize the enthusiasm she has for serving the young women and babies living in the Sioux Falls area. Her 29 years of experience and leadership have been the driving force behind the success of the Teddy Bear Den.

I’m excited to introduce myself as part of the Teddy Bear Den team. I’m originally from Seattle, WA, and moved here 2.5 years ago for a job opportunity. I have a degree in Human Services and Psychology, and my long-term goal is to complete my Master’s in Social Work. My favorite part is working with our moms, our amazing volunteers, and networking with professionals in the community. I’m so happy to be here and look forward to growing with this team!
